Battle Ropes or Battling Ropes are thicker ropes with a diameter of approx. Ø 35 to 45 mm in lengths of 12 to 20 metres, which are beaten in a wave shape.
The arms move up and down and the ropes move across the floor as a well-formed wave, a strenuous but effective workout.
It was invented by the US American John Brookfield, who has already set numerous memorable records.
Rope training is now used in many football clubs as a strength-endurance or rehabilitation exercise.
One of the best things about ropetraining is that you can tell immediately from the movement of the rope whether you are doing the exercise correctly and when you should stop.
If the perfect waves become uneven, you should take a break.
The upper half of the body, torso, arms and shoulders are strengthened. It is said to be extremely easy on the joints.
Battle Rope made of Ø 36 mm thick natural-coloured PP spun fibre rope.
Length 15 metres with plastic ends, approx. 20 cm long at both ends.
