A jungle bridge that’s a real eye-catcher, whether in public municipal spaces, on playgrounds and sports fields, in nurseries or even in school playgrounds.
The thick walking rope is made from weather-resistant, square-braided polypropylene rope with a diameter of 140 mm in natural/beige, with a galvanised steel wire of 12 mm diameter running through the centre to ensure a sturdy installation.
The rope ends on the left and right are crimped with sturdy galvanised M12 ring nuts or, optionally, with M12 x 220 mm eye bolts for easy installation on square or round timber. Other fixing methods are available on request.
Railing made from Ø 16 mm Herkules rope with a mesh size of 300 mm x 300 mm. Depending on the angle of the sides, the railing height is approximately 1.10 metres, which is higher than required by the DIN standard.
In addition, you can purchase a further railing safety net made of PP with a yarn thickness of Ø 5 mm and a mesh size of # 45 mm in various colours. This provides protection against climbing through the mesh and additional safety, even when
installed at a greater height.
The lengths to be selected always refer to the ‘clear width’, i.e. you do not need to take into account the thickness of the posts, sag or similar factors; simply provide us with the measurement between the fixing points, and we’ll take care of the rest.
You are free to choose the length here. Please note, however, that for longer bridges, centre supports may need to be taken into account.
Manufacture complies with the applicable DIN EN 1176 (playground standard)
