Our nets are made of very solid knotless polypropylene (PPM) netting, which you can get from us in different yarn strengths and mesh sizes.
Compared to conventional round bale nets, which are sewn in a box shape, our nets have a cylindrical shape and are manufactured to fit the different round bale sizes. This means that the bale retains its "shape" even when the amount of hay is decreasing and less "excess" netting material remains.
Not only do our hay nets allow you to offer your animal hay in small portions throughout the day, but you also save up to 50%, since considerably less hay is represented.
Accessory 1: Optionally you can also purchase a very stable hot-dip galvanized iron ring, which is firmly connected to the edge of the net. With this ring the handling is much easier, because the ring with the net only has to be put over the round bale, no lashing or tensioning is necessary anymore. You can increase the weight of the ring by filling it with dry sand (quartz sand). For this purpose we have provided the metal rings with an opening and a plastic clip to close them.
Accessory 2: Alternatively, we can also offer you a ring made of PE pipe with Ø 32mm diameter. This ring is intended for self-assembly and is supplied with a brass connector and braided cord (to be attached to the ring). For weight increase we recommend filling with dry sand.
Accessories 3: Furthermore we can offer you a galvanized iron chain for weight increase. By simply "threading" it through the lower edge meshes, the net gets the necessary weight to slide easily over the bale and then lie safely on the ground.
For the connection of the two ends a chain connection is included.
Note: Experience shows that it is better to choose a net with a diameter of 10 cm larger, as the round bales vary.

Basically it is difficult to make a statement about this. For smaller horses

like ponies and breeds, which used to graze on barren land, are small
meshes more suitable than larger ones. These animals usually eat in the "natural"
Assumption that soon there may be no or less food and therefore
"reserves of fat" in the form of fat reserves.
For older animals and those with no experience in netting, a larger mesh size should be
prefer.
Horses are steppe animals and in the course of their development they have adapted optimally to

adapted to their habitat. Since the stomach of horses is relatively small, it is
it is necessary that the animal is constantly spread over the day small, raw-fiber oak
can eat portions of food, at least 12 hours a day. With feeding nets this can be
be supported, because it is avoided that too much is eaten in too short a time
will.
The nets have a square mesh position and the width is measured from

Example: Net with Ø 5 mm yarn thickness and 45 mm mesh size has a clear dimension
of about 40 x 40 mm.
We have been supplying our customers with our nets for many years. Among them

is the hobby rider as well as the professional breeder. Up to now we have no
Case known where nets have caused tooth or denture problems.
However, it cannot be excluded, so that it is sometimes advisable to treat older animals with
to go on wide-meshed nets. This also concerns the time of the
Tooth replacement.
This is possible and care should be taken to ensure that the net mesh is always smaller

is than the smallest hoof. If the hay is fed from a hay rack, the danger is hardly
given.
We manufacture our nets from 100% polypropylene (PPM), which is safe to health.

is harmless. Furthermore, our nets are saliva-proof and can be

washing machine at max. 60 degrees
This depends of course on the duration, intensity and correct use.

If you use an unsuitable mesh size, one or the other animal may
get impatient already and tear at the net and damage it. At
correctly used, our nets last for several years.
After consultation with several customers, the savings were sometimes up to 50%, because

no more hay is "represented", no more falls to the ground while eating and
the plucked quantity is eaten. Bales, which are free to graze in the pasture or
are located in windy places are largely protected from wind.
This is not a problem.

Here the knotless nets are clearly preferable, as they are usually softer

and the "knot" cannot get caught and does not invite you to nibble.
